Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’”


Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”


But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a command of yours. But you never gave me a goat so that I could celebrate with my friends.


I tell y’all that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who don’t need repentance.


When they kept on asking him, he looked up and said to them, “Whoever is sinless among y’all can throw the first stone at her.”


I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive, and I died.


So the law has become our guide to bring us to Christ, so that we might be justified by faith.


regarding zeal, persecuting the assembly; regarding the righteousness that is in the law, found blameless.
