It is to be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron is to bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel are to make holy in all their holy gifts. It must always be on his forehead, so that they may be accepted before YHWH.


“You are to bring the bull before the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on the head of the bull.


“You are to also take the one ram, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on the head of the ram.


“You are to take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on the head of the ram.


They are to eat those things with which atonement was made, to consecrate and sanctify them; but a stranger must not eat of it, because they are holy.


I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”


and one lamb of the flock out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel—for a meal offering, for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make atonement for them,” says Lord YHWH.


“Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.


Aaron is to lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins. He is to put them on the head of the goat and send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is ready.


Then he will bathe himself in water in a holy place, put on his garments, and come out to offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, to make atonement for himself and for the people.


Whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to YHWH to accomplish a vow, or for a free will offering of the herd or of the flock, it msut be perfect to be accepted. It must have no defect.


“When a bull, a sheep, or a goat is born, it will remain seven days with its mother. From the eighth day on it will be accepted for the offering of a burnt offering made to YHWH.


He is to lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron will sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

All its fat he is to burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest is to make atonement for him concerning his sin, and he will be forgiven.


He will lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill the sin offering in the place of burnt offering.


All its fat he is to take away, like the fat is taken away from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest is to burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma to YHWH; and the priest is to make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.


He is to lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.


He must remove all its fat, like the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings. the priest is to burn them on the altar, on the offerings of YHWH made by fire. the priest is to make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.


He is to bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Meeting before YHWH, and he is to lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before YHWH.


and is to bring their trespass offering to YHWH for the sin they sinned: a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering. Then the priest is to make atonement for them concerning their sin.


the priest is to make atonement for them before YHWH, and they will be forgiven concerning whatever they did to become guilty.”


He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.


He presented the ram of the burnt offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.


He presented the other ram, the ram of consecration. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.


Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as YHWH commanded.”


The priest will make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they will be forgiven, because it was unintentional. They have brought their offering, a food offering for YHWH, and their sin offering before YHWH, for their unintentional sin.


The priest will make atonement for the person who errs by sinning unintentionally before YHWH. When he makes atonement, that person will be forgiven.


So it will be for him and his offspring after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.’”


You are to present the Levites before YHWH, and the children of Israel are to lay their hands on the Levites,


“The Levites are to lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, then you are to offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to YHWH, to make atonement for the Levites.


Therefore I urge y’all, siblings, by the mercies of God, to present y’all’s bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your* proper sacred service.


whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice through faith in his blood. This was a demonstration of ʜɪꜱ righteousness, through the restraint of God in passing over sins already committed


Not only that, but we also glory in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.


But I have received everything, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what y’all sent. It is a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and pleasing sacrifice to God.


For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.


And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not just ours, but also for the whole world.
