You said to your servants, ‘Y’all bring him down to me, that I may set my eyes on him.’


For YHWH’s eyes run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.”


Remember me, my God, for all the good that I have done for this people.


The eyes of YHWH are on the righteous. Hɪꜱ ears listen to their cry.


You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.


For YHWH will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. The foreigner will join himself with them, and they will unite with the house of Jacob.


Then your people will all be righteous. They will inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.


See, today I have set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to uproot and to tear down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”


It will happen that after I have plucked them up, I will return and have compassion on them. I will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.


but rather, ‘As YHWH lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries where he had driven them.’ I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.


For I have set my face against this city for disaster, and not for good,” says YHWH. “It will be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will burn it with fire.”’


“I will gather the remnant of my flock from all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds, and they will be fruitful and multiply.


For YHWH says, “After seventy years are accomplished for Babylon, I will visit y’all and fulfill my good word toward y’all, to return y’all to this place.


It will happen that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” says YHWH.


I will build you again, and you will be built, Virgin of Israel. You will again be adorned with your tambourines, and will go out in the dances of those who make merry.


“Look! I will gather them out of all the countries where I have driven them in my anger, wrath, and great indignation. I will bring them again to this place. I will cause them to dwell safely.


Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”


I will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel, and will build them as at the first.


This city will be to me for a name of joy, for praise, and for glory, before all the nations of the earth, which will hear all the good that I do to them, and will fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I provide to it.’”


“Take him and keep an eye on him. Don’t harm him, but rather do for him whatever he tells you.”


‘If y’all will stay in this land, then I will build y’all up and not tear y’all down. I will plant y’all and not uproot y’all up. For I am filled with sorry over the disaster that I have brought on y’all.


“‘“For I will take y’all from among the nations and gather y’all from all the countries, and will bring y’all into your* own land.


I will bring my people Israel back from captivity, and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards, and drink wine from them. They will also make gardens, and eat their fruit.


a land which YHWH your God cares for. The eyes of YHWH your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.


For the eyes of the Lord [YHWH] are on the righteous, and ʜɪꜱ ears are open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord [YHWH] is against those who do evil.”
