God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse, and it was so.


I will bring the flood of waters on this earth to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.


Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth.


In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.


The fountains of the deep and the floodgates of the sky were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.


and that captain answered the man of God, and said, “Look, even if YHWH made windows in heaven, could this really happen?” and he said, “Indeed, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”


Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, “If YHWH made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” Elisha said, “You will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”


See how ʜᴇ withholds the waters, and they dry up. Again, ʜᴇ sends them out, and they overturn the earth.


He breaks open a shaft away from where people live. They are forgotten by the foot. They hang far from men, they swing back and forth.


“Have you entered into the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in the recesses of the deep?


Who can count the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the containers of the sky,


Hᴇ gathers the waters of the sea together into a heap. Hᴇ puts the deeps in storehouses.


You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.


By his knowledge, the depths were broken up, and the skies drop down the dew.


It will happen that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the middle of the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.


The earth is devastated-devastated. The earth is broken-broken. The earth is shaken-shaken.


Shouldn’t y’all fear me?’ says YHWH. ‘Shouldn’t y’all you tremble at my presence? For I have placed the sand boundary for the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass. Though its waves toss themselves, yet they can’t prevail. Though they roar, they still can’t pass over it.’


When ʜɪꜱ voice thunders, there is a roar of waters in the heavens, and ʜᴇ causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. Hᴇ makes lightning for the rain, and brings the wind out of ʜɪꜱ storehouses.


“For Lord YHWH says: ‘When I make you a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited, when I bring up the deep on you, and the great waters cover you,


Y’all are to bring the entire tithe into the storehouse, so that there will be food in my house. Y’all test me now on this,” says YHWH Almighty, “and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out such a blessing on y’all that there will not be enough room for it.


For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark.


While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and then there will be no escape.


Through these waters the world at that time was deluged and destroyed.
