You are to observe the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib (for in it you came out of Egypt), and no one is to appear before me empty.

When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter too, during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.


After he saw the vision, we immediately prepared to go to Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.


and from there to Philippi, a Roman colony and a primary city in the district Macedonia. We stayed in this city for several days.


So they passed by Mysia, and went down to Troas.


Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus to avoid spending time in the province of Asia, for he was hurrying to be in Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost.


But they had gone ahead and were waiting for us at Troas.


After we located the disciples, we stayed there seven days. Through the Spirit, they told Paul not to set foot in Jerusalem.


On the next day, we departed and came to Caesarea, where we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, one of the seven, and stayed with him.


where we found siblings who invited us to stay a week with them. And in this way, we came to Rome.


Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:


Although we suffered and were mistreated in Philippi, as y’all know, we found confidence in our God to tell y’all the gospel of God amid deep opposition.


When you come, bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus and the scrolls, especially the parchments.
