YHWH said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Will I really bear a child when I am old?’


Abimelech called Isaac, and said, “She really is your wife! Why did you say, ‘She is my sister?’” Isaac said to him, “Because I thought, ‘I might die because of her.’”


David spoke to YHWH the words of this song in the day that YHWH delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul,


For YHWH’s eyes run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.”


if the men of my tent have not said, ‘Who can find one who has not been filled with his meat?’


Hᴇ will deliver you in six troubles; In seven no evil will touch you.


For ʜᴇ will stand at the right hand of the needy, to save ʜɪᴍ from those who judge ʜɪꜱ soul.


But look, the eye of YHWH is on those who fear ʜɪᴍ, on those who hope in ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness,


to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.


YHWH redeems the soul of ʜɪꜱ servants. None of those who take refuge in ʜɪᴍ will be condemned.


The Angel of YHWH encamps around those who fear ʜɪᴍ, and delivers them.


YHWH will preserve them, and keep them alive. They will be blessed on the earth. Do not surrender them to the will of their enemies.


Y’all who love YHWH must hate evil! Hᴇ preserves the souls of ʜɪꜱ faithful ones. Hᴇ delivers them from the hand of the wicked.


He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”


Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent ʜɪꜱ angel and delivered ʜɪꜱ servants who trusted in ʜɪᴍ, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.


My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not hurt me, because innocence was found in me before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”


But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough to spare, and I’m here lost with hunger!


Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, “Get up quickly!” And the chains fell off his hands.


After two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, but because Felix wanted to do the Jews a favor, he left Paul in prison.


But Festus, wanting to do the Jews a favor, replied to Paul, “Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me there on these charges?”


But an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison during the night, brought them out, and said,


Aren’t they all spirits of deacon-work, sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?


then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
