Then they cried to YHWH in their trouble, and ʜᴇ delivered them out of their distresses.


Then I called on the name of YHWH: “YHWH, I beg you, deliver my soul.”


In my distress, I cried to YHWH. Hᴇ answered me.


In my distress I called on YHWH, and to my God I cried. Hᴇ heard my voice from ʜɪꜱ temple. My cry came before ʜɪᴍ into ʜɪꜱ ears.


One thing I ask from YHWH, this is what I desire: that I may dwell in the house of YHWH all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of YHWH, and to contemplate in ʜɪꜱ temple.


This poor man cried, and YHWH heard him, and saved him from all his troubles.


YHWH said, “I have seen-seen the misery of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their slave drivers, for I know their sorrows.


I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight, yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’


“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered YHWH. My prayer came in to you, to your holy temple.


But YHWH is in ʜɪꜱ holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before ʜɪᴍ!”


Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling down on the ground.


In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and petitions with strong cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.


Look! The wages of the laborers who mowed y’all’s fields, which y’all have kept back by fraud, cry out against y’all. The cries of the harvesters have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.
