Then Iesus answered and said. I praise thee o father Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast opened them unto babes,


even so father, for so it pleased thee.


But I say unto you, love your enemies. Bless them that curse you. Do good to them that hate you. Pray for them which do you wrong, and persecute you,


¶ And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots for them, what every man should have.


saying: Father if thou wilt, withdraw this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, But thine be fulfilled.


¶ I pray for them. I pray not for the world: but for them which thou hast given me, for they are thine,


Iesus answered: Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given unto thee from above. Therefore he that delivered me unto thee, is more in sin.


Paul cried with a loud voice saying: Do thyself no harm, for we are all here.


¶ And now brethren I wot well that thorow ignorance ye have done it, as did also your heads.


And he kneeled down and cried with a loud voice: Lord impute not this sin unto them, For they wote not what they do. And when he had thus spoken he fell asleep.


Bless them which persecute you: bless but curse not.


which wisdom none of the rulers of the world knew. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory:


and labour working with our own hands. We are reviled, and yet we bless. We are persecuted, and suffer it.


and put me in office, when before I was a blasphemer, and a persecuter, and a tyrant. Nevertheless I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly, in unbelief:


not rendering evil for evil, neither rebuke for rebuke: but contrariwise, bless: remembering that ye are thereunto called, even that ye should be heirs of blessing.
