They said, some say that thou art Ihon baptist, some Helyas, some Ieremias, or one of the prophets.


and greetings in the markets and to be called of men Rabbi.


¶ But ye shall not suffer yourselves to be called Rabbi, for one is your master, that is to wit Christ, and all ye are brethren.


And Iesus answered, and said unto them: Suppose ye that these Galileans, were greater sinners then all the other Galileans because they suffered such punishment?


¶ In the meanwhile his disciples prayed him saying: Master eat.


¶ And as Iesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth,


They answered and said unto him: thou art altogether born in sin: and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.


When the men of the country saw the worm hang on his hand, they said among themselves: this man must needs be a murderer: Whom (though he have escaped the sea) yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
