The Son of man is come eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a glutton and a wine-bibber, a friend of publicans and sinners; but wisdom is justified by her children.


Wherefore I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven to men.


For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath.


He that received the seed among the thorns, is he that heareth the word: and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.


The enemy that sowed them is the devil: the harvest is the end of the world; the reapers are the angels.


As therefore the darnel are gathered and burnt with fire, so shall it be in the end of this world.


Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brethren, James and Joses and Simon and Judas?


And Jesus saith to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.


But he shall receive an hundred fold now in this time, houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life.


Verily I say to you, All sins shall be forgiven the sons of men and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme.


But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is liable to eternal damnation:


And whosoever shall speak against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but to him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven.


And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely; for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light.


for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in the present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.


Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots.

And there was much murmuring among the multitude concerning him: for some said, He is a good man; others said, Nay; but he seduceth the people.


This he spake of the Spirit, which they who believed on him were to receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.


They answered and said to him, Art thou also a Galilean?


Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,


Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.


having put me into the ministry, Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecuter, and a reviler; but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.


This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the chief.


For bodily exercise profiteth a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having the promise of the present life, and of that which is to come.


Charge the rich in this world not to be high-minded, neither to trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy:


For Demas hath forsaken me, loving the present world, and is gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.


Teaching us, that, having renounced ungodliness and all wordly desires, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present world,


Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspoted from the world.
