You serpents, you brood of vipers! How will you escape being sentenced to hell?


Or do yoʋ think that I cannot call on my Father right now, and he will provide me with more than twelve legions of angels?


But Jesus said to him, “Man, who appointed me as a judge or arbitrator over you?”


After a little while, someone else saw him and said, “Yoʋ also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.”


But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what yoʋ are talking about!” And immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.


Though they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things deserve death, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.


Therefore yoʋ are without excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For on whatever grounds yoʋ judge another, yoʋ condemn yoʋrself, for yoʋ who judge do the same things.


Now we know that the judgment of God against those who do such things is in accordance with truth.


On the contrary, O man, who are yoʋ to answer back to God? Shall the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why did yoʋ make me like this?”


When people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will certainly not escape.


See to it that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if the people did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we escape if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?


how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? This salvation was first announced by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
