The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are made clean and the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the poor have good news preached to them.


When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus, kneeling before him


Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand, touched the man, and said to him, “I am willing; be made clean.”


As he was setting out on the road, a man ran up, knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”


Then he withdrew from them about a stone's throw away and knelt down and prayed,


Then he fell to his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” After saying this, he fell asleep.


For this reason I bow my knees in prayer before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
