Then Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,


With him came Nicodemus (who had previously come to Jesus by night). He brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes that weighed about seventy-five pounds.


Jesus answered him, “Yoʋ are the teacher of Israel, and yoʋ do not understand these things?


And behold, he is speaking openly, and they are saying nothing to him. Could it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Christ?
