I am not speaking about all of you; I know those whom I have chosen for myself. But the Scripture must be fulfilled: ‘He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.’


“I have revealed yoʋr name to the people yoʋ have given me out of the world. They were yoʋrs; yoʋ gave them to me, and they have kept yoʋr word.


He said this to fulfill the word he had spoken: “I have not lost a single one of those yoʋ have given me.”


Everyone the Father gives me will come to me, and I will never cast out anyone who comes to me.


to receive the share of this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned away to go to his own place.”


Therefore God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every other name,


Let no one deceive you in any manner, for that day cannot come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction.


And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again, “Here I am, with the children God has given me.”


They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. But they went out so that it might be revealed that they do not belong to us.


His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems. Names were written on him, including a name that no one knows but he himself.
