Jesus knew that the Father had put all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,


I have spoken these things to you so that my joy may abide in you, and so that your joy may be full.


I have said these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart; I have overcome the world.”


I will no longer remain in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to yoʋ. Holy Father, keep them in yoʋr name, which yoʋ have given me, so that they may be one, just as we are one.


He who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and listens for him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.


Then Jesus said, “I am with you for a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.


And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.


For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.


But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,


fixing our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


We are writing these things to you so that our joy may be full.


Although I have much to write to you, I would rather not use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to come to you and speak face to face, so that our joy may be full.
