Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.


Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?


But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the arrival of Titus,


Indeed, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.


Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never leave yoʋ, nor will I ever forsake yoʋ.”
