The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.


no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.


therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way and be sated with their own devices.


but he who listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of evil.”


Be assured, an evil man will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will be delivered.


Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan good have joy.


A perverse man will be filled with the fruit of his ways, and a good man with the fruit of his deeds.


The fear of the Lord leads to life; and he who has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.


It is good that you should take hold of this, and from that withhold not your hand; for he who fears God shall come forth from them all.


He who obeys a command will meet no harm, and the mind of a wise man will know the time and way.


You will be sated with contempt instead of glory. Drink, yourself, and stagger! The cup in the Lord's right hand will come around to you, and shame will come upon your glory!


We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.


For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,


Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is right?


Render to her as she herself has rendered, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double draught for her in the cup she mixed.
