I in the Lord do put my trust: how is it then that ye Say to my soul, Flee, as a bird, unto your mountain high?


Thee will I praise, for thou me heard'st and hast my safety been.


The mighty Lord is on my side, I will not be afraid; For any thing that man can do I shall not be dismay'd.


The Lord will light my candle so, that it shall shine full bright: The Lord my God will also make my darkness to be light.


By thee through troops of men I break, and them discomfit all; And, by my God assisting me, I overleap a wall.


God lives, bless'd be my Rock; the God of my health praised be.


The words which from my mouth proceed, the thoughts sent from my heart, Accept, O Lord, for thou my strength and my Redeemer art.


Salvation doth appertain unto the Lord alone: Thy blessing, Lord, for evermore thy people is upon.


For thou the God art of my strength; why thrusts thou me thee fro'? For th' enemy's oppression why do I mourning go?


He only my salvation is, and my strong rock is he: He only is my sure defence; much mov'd I shall not be.
