I am now about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God and dedicate it to him for offering fragrant incense before him, and for the regular offering of the rows of bread, and for burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed festivals of the Lord our God, as ordained forever for Israel.


The contribution of the king from his own possessions was for the burnt offerings: the burnt offerings of morning and evening, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, the new moons, and the appointed festivals, as it is written in the law of the Lord.


And they kept the festival of booths, as prescribed, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number according to the ordinance, as required for each day,


Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you; your burnt offerings are continually before me.


Moses entered the cloud, and went up on the mountain. Moses was on the mountain for forty days and forty nights.


When God finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.


And he shall provide a grain offering with it morning by morning regularly, one-sixth of an ephah, and one-third of a hin of oil to moisten the choice flour, as a grain offering to the Lord; this is the ordinance for all time.


Thus the lamb and the grain offering and the oil shall be provided, morning by morning, as a regular burnt offering.


These are the commandments that the Lord gave to Moses for the people of Israel on Mount Sinai.


Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the ritual of the burnt offering. The burnt offering itself shall remain on the hearth upon the altar all night until the morning, while the fire on the altar shall be kept burning.


Did you bring to me sacrifices and offerings the forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?


also one-tenth of an ephah of choice flour for a grain offering, mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil.


Its drink offering shall be one-fourth of a hin for each lamb; in the sanctuary you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord.


But even if I am being poured out as a libation over the sacrifice and the offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you—
