Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of Jehovah my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt-offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Jehovah our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.


He appointed also the king’s portion of his substance for the burnt-offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt-offerings, and the burnt-offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of Jehovah.


And they kept the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt-offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;


I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; And thy burnt-offerings are continually before me.


And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.


And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.


And thou shalt prepare a meal-offering with it morning by morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of a hin of oil, to moisten the fine flour; a meal-offering unto Jehovah continually by a perpetual ordinance.


Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meal-offering, and the oil, morning by morning, for a continual burnt-offering.


These are the commandments, which Jehovah commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.


Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt-offering: the burnt-offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night unto the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning thereon.


Did ye bring unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?


and the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal-offering, mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil.


And the drink-offering thereof shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou pour out a drink-offering of strong drink unto Jehovah.


Yea, and if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all:
