22 ‘Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,’ declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.


But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.


and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets, that he would be called a Nazarene.


When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.


But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.


They told him, ‘Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.’


One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, ‘Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?’


Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’


Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.


Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin. ‘What are we accomplishing?’ they asked. ‘Here is this man performing many signs.


Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word.


If I had not done among them the works no-one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.


Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: Jesus of Nazareth, the king of the Jews.


He came to Jesus at night and said, ‘Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no-one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.’


‘Unless you people see signs and wonders,’ Jesus told him, ‘you will never believe.’


‘I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish – the very works that I am doing – testify that the Father has sent me.


After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, ‘Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.’


Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.’


Still, many in the crowd believed in him. They said, ‘When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man?’


If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.’


Standing up, Paul motioned with his hand and said: ‘Fellow Israelites and you Gentiles who worship God, listen to me!


On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.


I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.


Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.


shouting, ‘Fellow Israelites, help us! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.’


‘ “Who are you, Lord?” I asked. ‘  “I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.


‘We have found this man to be a troublemaker, stirring up riots among the Jews all over the world. He is a ringleader of the Nazarene sect


The king is familiar with these things, and I can speak freely to him. I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner.


‘I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth.


When Peter saw this, he said to them: ‘Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?


Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.’


then know this, you and all the people of Israel: it is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.


Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: ‘Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men.


For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs Moses handed down to us.’


I persevered in demonstrating among you the marks of a true apostle, including signs, wonders and miracles.


God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.
