Fear not, thou worm of Jacob, you that are dead of Israel. I have helped thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel.


But if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.


And coming he dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was said by prophets: That he shall be called a Nazarene.


And the multitude seeing it, feared, and glorified God that gave such power to men.


But if I by the finger of God cast out devils; doubtless the kingdom of God is come upon you.


And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.


And the one of them, whose name was Cleophas, answering, said to him: Art thou only a stranger to Jerusalem, and hast not known the things that have been done there in these days?


Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith to him: We have found him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets did write, Jesus the son of Joseph of Nazareth.


If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.


The chief priests therefore, and the Pharisees, gathered a council, and said: What do we, for this man doth many miracles?


The multitude therefore gave testimony, which was with him, when he called Lazarus out of the grave, and raised him from the dead.


If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.


And Pilate wrote a title also, and he put it upon the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.


This man came to Jesus by night, and said to him: Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God; for no man can do these signs which thou dost, unless God be with him.


Jesus therefore said to him: Unless you see signs and wonders, you believe not.


But I have a greater testimony than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to perfect; the works themselves, which I do, give testimony of me, that the Father hath sent me.


Now those men, when they had seen what a miracle Jesus had done, said: This is of a truth the prophet, that is to come into the world.


Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed.


But of the people many believed in him, and said: When the Christ cometh, shall he do more miracles, than these which this man doth?


Unless this man were of God, he could not do any thing.


Then Paul rising up, and with his hand bespeaking silence, said: Ye men of Israel, and you that fear God, give ear.


And they abode no small time with the disciples.


And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapour of smoke.


And fear came upon every soul: many wonders also and signs were done by the apostles in Jerusalem, and there was great fear in all.


Men of Israel, help: This is the man that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place; and moreover hath brought in Gentiles into the temple, and hath violated this holy place.


And I answered: Who art thou, Lord? And he said to me: I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.


We have found this to be a pestilent man, and raising seditions among all the Jews throughout the world, and author of the sedition of the sect of the Nazarenes.


For the king knoweth of these things, to whom also I speak with confidence. For I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him. For neither was any of these things done in a corner.


And I indeed did formerly think, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.


But Peter seeing, made answer to the people: Ye men of Israel, why wonder you at this? or why look you upon us, as if by our strength or power we had made this man to walk?


But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none; but what I have, I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise, and walk.


Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God hath raised from the dead, even by him this man standeth here before you whole.


And he said to them: Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do, as touching these men.


For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the traditions which Moses delivered unto us.


Yet the signs of my apostleship have been wrought on you, in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.


God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.
