For the fool will speak folly, and his heart work iniquity, to practice hypocrisy and to speak error against Jehovah, to make the soul of the hungry empty, and he will take away the drink of the thirsty.


in transgressing and lying against Jehovah, and going away from our God, talking cruelty and revolt, conceiving and speaking from the heart words of falsehood.


None calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth; they trust in vanity and speak lies. They conceive mischief and bring out iniquity.


Woe to the worthless shepherd who abandons the flock! The sword shall be on his arm and on his right eye; his arm shall be completely dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.


But when the Pharisees saw, they said to Him, Behold, your disciples do that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath day.


And the Pharisees came to Him, tempting Him and saying to Him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?


And they watched Him to see if He would heal him on the sabbath day, so that they might accuse Him.

Therefore the Jews said to him who had been healed, It is the sabbath. It is not lawful for you to take up the bed.


In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, of blind, lame, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.


If a man receives circumcision on the sabbath day so that the Law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry at Me because I have made a man entirely sound on the sabbath day?


They said this, tempting Him so that they might have reason to accuse Him. But bending down, Jesus wrote on the ground with His finger, not appearing to hear.


Therefore some of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because he does not keep the sabbath. Others said, How can a man, a sinner, do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
