And He opened His mouth and taught them, saying,


And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God,


And all the city had gathered at the door.


And finding Him, they said to Him, All are seeking You.


But going out, he began to proclaim it very much, and to spread about the matter, so that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was outside in deserted places. And they came to Him from every quarter.


And again He entered into Capernaum after some days. And it was heard that He was in a house.


And He went out again by the seaside. And all the crowd came to Him, and He taught them.


And going out Jesus saw a large crowd. And He was moved with compassion toward them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And He began to teach them many things.


In the meantime, when there had gathered together an innumerable crowd of people, so as to trample on one another, He began to say to His disciples first, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.


And it happened on one of the days, even He was teaching. And Pharisees and teachers of the Law were sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was there, for the curing of them.


And it happened afterwards, He traveled in every city and village, proclaiming and announcing the gospel of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve were with Him,


And the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.


Then, indeed, they who were scattered abroad by the persecution that rose about Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, preaching the Word to no one except the Jews.


And speaking the Word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.


And coming through the Phrygian and the Galatian region; and by the Holy Spirit being forbidden to speak the Word in Asia;


Then, indeed, having earnestly testified and having spoken the Word of the Lord also having preached the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans, they returned to Jerusalem.


But what does it say? "The Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart"; that is, the Word of Faith which we proclaim;


preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
