And leaving Nazareth, He came and lived in Capernaum, which is on the seacoast, in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali,


And He entered into a boat, and passed over, and came to His own city.


But going out, he began to proclaim it very much, and to spread about the matter, so that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was outside in deserted places. And they came to Him from every quarter.


And immediately many were gathered, so that none any longer had room, even to the door. And He proclaimed the Word to them.


And again a crowd came together, so that they could not even eat bread.


And when He had entered into the house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable.


And He arose from there and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered into a house and desired no one to know it. But He could not be hidden.


And He entering into a house, His disciples asked Him privately, Why could we not cast him out?


And He said to them, You will surely say this proverb to Me, Physician, heal yourself. Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in your native-place.


And behold, men carrying, on a cot, a man who was paralyzed. And they sought to bring him in and to lay him before Him.


When He heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and begged Him that He would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.


But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect.
