who say, Keep to yourself, do not come near me; for I am holier than you. These are a smoke in My nose, a fire that burns all the day.


Hear the Word of Jehovah, you who tremble at His Word; your brothers who hated you, who cast you out for My name's sake, said, Let Jehovah be glorified. But He will appear to your joy, and they will be ashamed.


And those who understand among the people shall teach many; yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by exile, and spoil, for days.


And do not fear those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.


Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My name's sake.


Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall cut you off, and when they shall reproach you and shall cast out your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man.


Still, however, even out of the rulers, many did believe on Him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;


I have spoken these things to you in parables, but the time is coming when I shall no more speak to you in parables, but I will show you plainly of the Father.


Behold, the hour comes, yea, has now come, that you will be scattered, each man to his own things, and you will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him.


His parents spoke these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.


They answered and said to him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out.


But those hearing were cut to the heart, and they took counsel to kill them.


And he said, Behold, I see Heaven opened and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God.

concerning zeal, persecuting the church; regarding the righteousness in the Law, blameless.


And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held.


Then the men of the city said to Joash, Bring out your son so that he may die (because he had cast down the altar of Baal, and because he had cut down the pillar by it).
