And David said to Gad, I am in great distress. Let me fall now into the hand of Jehovah, for His mercies are very great. But do not let me fall into the hand of man.


For if you turn again to Jehovah, your brothers and your sons will have mercies before those who lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land. For Jehovah your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him.


And they refused to obey, neither were they mindful of Your wonders which You did among them. But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But You are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and did not forsake them.


But for Your great mercies, You did not completely destroy them nor forsake them. For You are a gracious and merciful God.


There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job. And that man was perfect and upright, and one who feared God and turned aside from evil.


And there were born to him seven sons and three daughters.


But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish ones speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.


But He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.


As a father pities his children, Jehovah pities those who fear Him.


Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and rich in mercy.


Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.


Look on me, and be merciful to me, as You usually do to those who love Your name.


Jehovah is gracious and full of pity; slow to anger, and of great mercy.


Watch the perfect and behold the upright one; for the end of that man is peace.

It is by Jehovah's kindnesses that we are not destroyed, because His mercies never fail.


To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him.


Yes, tear your heart and not your robes, and turn to Jehovah your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He pities because of the evil.


And he prayed to Jehovah and said, Please, O Jehovah, was this not my saying when I was still in my land? On account of this I fled before to Tarshish. For I knew that You are a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and One who repents over calamity.


Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.


Jehovah is long-suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation.


And you will be hated of all men for My name's sake, but the one who endures to the end shall be kept safe.


And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.


For everyone who asks receives. And he who seeks finds. And to him who knocks it shall be opened.


Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.


Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?


to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He has made us accepted in the One having been loved.


But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love with which He loved us


But we are not of those withdrawing to destruction, but of those who believe to the preserving of the soul.


For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,


But Christ was faithful as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.


Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.


My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into different kinds of temptations,


Therefore girding up the loins of your mind, being sober, perfectly hope for the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ,


But if you also suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And do not fear their fear, nor be troubled,


The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust for a day of judgment, to be punished,
