And now you have gone because you longed after your father's house. Why have you stolen my gods?


And they left their images there, and David and his men took them away.


For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am Jehovah.


and on all the ships of Tarshish, and on all pleasurable craft.


and have cast their gods into the fire, for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; so they have destroyed them.


Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods and their kings; even Pharaoh and all who trust in him;


I ate no food for delight, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, until three whole weeks were fulfilled.


So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.


Though he is fruitful among his brothers, an east wind shall come. The wind of Jehovah shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall be ashamed, and his fountain shall be dried up. He shall plunder the treasure of all desirable vessels.


For from Israel it came also. The craftsman made it, but it is not God. For the calf of Samaria shall be splinters.


For the Egyptians buried all their first-born whom Jehovah had stricken among them. Jehovah also executed judgments upon their gods.


And you shall overthrow their altars and break their pillars, and burn their pillars with fire. And you shall cut down the carved images of their gods, and destroy their names out of that place.


And he said, You have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and you have gone away. And what more do I have? And what is this you say to me, What ails you?
