And they sayde: we thy seruauntes are .xij. brethren, the sonnes of one man in the lande of Canaan. The yongest is yet with oure father, and one, no man woteth where he is.


These be the chyldren of Lea whiche she bare vnto Iacob in Mesopotamia with hys daughter Dina. All these soules of hys sonnes and doughters make .xxx. and .iij.


And Dauid & all the house of Israel brought the arcke of the Lorde wyth shoutyng & trompet blowyng.


And when she sawe the kynge stande by a pyler (as the maner was) & the syngers & the trompettes by the kynge, and all the people of the lande reioysynge, and the blowing of the trompettes, she rente her clothes, and cryed: treason, treason.


And when she sawe the kynge stande at his pyler in the enterynge, and the Lordes and trompetes about the kynge, and all the people of the lande reioysynge and blowing wyth trompetes, and the syngers with instrumentes of musycke teachinge to prayse. Then she rent her clothes and cryed: treason treason.


But the Leuites euery one of them that were vnder Asaph, Heman and Iduthun, and among theyr chyldren and brethren, were arayed in bysse and sang wyth Simbales, Psalteryes, and harpes standyng East from the aulter, and wyth them an hundred and .xx. priestes blowynge trompettes.


And the priestes wayted on theyr offices, and the Leuites with instrumentes of musycke of the Lorde which kinge Dauid made to confesse vnto the Lorde that hys mercye lasteth euer, when Dauid gaue prayse thorowe theyr handes. And the priestes blewe trompettes faste by them: and all Israell stode.


And when the buylders layd the foundacion of the temple of the Lorde, the pryestes stode in their aray, with trompettes. And the Leuites the children of Asaph with cymbales, to prayse the Lorde after the maner of Dauid kynge of Israel.


God is gone vp with a mery noyse, & the Lord with the sownde of the trompet.


Blowe vp the trompettes in the new mone, vpon our solempne feast daye.


With trompettes also and shawmes: O shewe youre selues ioyfull before the Lorde the kynge.


And the chyldren of Israel shall pytche theyr tentes, euerye man in hys owne company and euery man bi his owne standart thoroweout al theyr hostes.


Make the two trompettes of beaten syluer, that thou mayst vse them to call the congregacion together, & when the hoste shal iourney.


And the fyrst day of the .vij. moneth shalbe an holy feast vnto you and ye shall do no laboryous worke therin. It shalbe a day of trompet blowyng vnto you.


then the prynces of Israell heades ouer the houses of their fathers whyche were the Lordes of the tribes that stode and numbred,


At the mouth of the Lord they reastyd, & at the commaundement of the Lord they iourneyed. And thus they kepte the watche of the Lord, at the commaundement of the Lorde by the hande of Moses.


And he shall sende his aungels with the greate voyce of a trompe, and they shall gader together his chosen from the foure windes, and from the one ende of the worlde to the other.


And seuen priestes shall beare seuen trompettes of rammes hornes before the arcke. And the seuenth daye ye shall compasse the cytye seuen tymes, & the Priestes shall blowe wyth theyr trompettes.


And I saw angelles standing before God, and to them were geuen .vij. trompettes.


And all thre companyes blew wt trompettes & brake the pitchers, & held the lampes in theyr left handes, & the trompettes in their right, to blowe wyth all. And they cryed the swerd of the Lord & of Gedeon.
