But they said: We thy servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Chanaan. The youngest is with our father, the other is not living.


These are the sons of Lia, whom she bore in Mesopotamia of Syria, with Dina his daughter. All the souls of her sons and daughters, thirty-three.


And David and all the house of Israel brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord with joyful shouting, and with sound of trumpet.


She saw the king standing upon a tribunal, as the manner was, and the singers, and the trumpets near him, and all the people of the land rejoicing, and sounding the trumpets. And she rent her garments, and cried: A conspiracy, a conspiracy!


And when she saw the king standing upon the step in the entrance, and the princes, and the companies about him, and all the people of the land rejoicing, and sounding with trumpets, and playing on instruments of divers kinds, and the voice of those that praised, she rent her garments, and said: Treason, treason.


Both the Levites and the singing men, that is, both they that were under Asaph, and they that were under Heman, and they that were under Idithun, with their sons, and their brethren, clothed with fine linen, sounded with cymbals, and psalteries, and harps, standing on the east side of the altar: and with them a hundred and twenty priests, sounding with trumpets.


And the priests stood in their offices: and the Levites with the instruments of music of the Lord, which king David made to praise the Lord: because his mercy endureth for ever, singing the hymns of David by their ministry. And the priests sounded with trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.


And when the masons laid the foundations of the temple of the Lord the priests stood in their ornaments with trumpets: and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise God by the hands of David king of Israel.


For behold the kings of the earth assembled themselves: they gathered together.


Judge for the needy and fatherless: do justice to the humble and the poor.


Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:


And the children of Israel shall camp every man by his troops and bands and army.


Make thee two trumpets of beaten silver, wherewith thou mayest call together the multitude when the camp is to be removed.


The first day also of the seventh month shall be venerable and holy unto you; you shall do no servile work therein, because it is the day of the sounding and of trumpets.


The princes of Israel and the heads of the families, in every tribe, who were the rulers of them who had been numbered, offered


By the word of the Lord they pitched their tents, and by his word they marched: and kept the watches of the Lord according to his commandment by the hand of Moses.


And he shall send his angels with a trumpet, and a great voice: and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the farthest parts of the heavens to the utmost bounds of them.


And on the seventh day the priests shall take the seven trumpets, which are used in the jubilee, and shall go before the ark of the covenant: and you shall go about the city seven times, and the priests shall sound the trumpets.


And I saw seven angels standing in the presence of God; and there were given to them seven trumpets.


And when they sounded their trumpets in three places round about the camp, and had broken their pitchers, they held their lamps in their left hands, and with their right hands the trumpets which they blew: and they cried out: The sword of the Lord and of Gedeon:
