He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.


Return, LORD. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness' sake.


LORD God Tzeva'ot, How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?


You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.


Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?


How long, LORD? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?


Remember how short my time is! For what vanity have you created all the children of men!


Don't be furious, LORD, neither remember iniquity forever: see, look, we beg you, we are all your people.


But you have utterly rejected us; You are very angry against us.


therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.


Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn't retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.


Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.
