Good sense wins favor, but the way of the treacherous is their ruin.


“Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah.


For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye:


And when he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the steps, motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great hush, he addressed them in the Hebrew language, saying:


And when they heard that he was addressing them in the Hebrew language, they became even more quiet. And he said:


At midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, that shone around me and those who journeyed with me.


And I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.


The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.


Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
