Good doctrine bestows grace. In the way of the contemptuous, there is a chasm.


Behold, I will set Jerusalem as a lintel of the effects of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, yet even Judah will be in the blockade against Jerusalem.


For thus says the Lord of hosts: After the glory, he has sent me to the Gentiles, which have despoiled you. For he who touches you, touches the pupil of my eye.


And when he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the stairs, motioned with his hand to the people. And when a great silence occurred, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, saying:


And when they heard him speaking to them in the Hebrew language, they offered a greater silence.


at midday, O king, I and those who were also with me, saw along the way a light from heaven shining around me with a splendor greater than that of the sun.


Then I said, 'Who are you, Lord?' And the Lord said, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.


And the Lord said to him, "Rise up and go into the city, and there you will be told what you ought to do." Now the men who were accompanying him were standing stupefied, hearing indeed a voice, but seeing no one.


Or should we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he is? All is lawful to me, but not all is expedient.
