Man’s life is like a flower. He grows quickly, and then dies away. Man’s life is like a shadow that is here for a short time, and then it is gone.


But Lord, you will live forever!\par Your name will continue\par forever and ever!\par


Because of my sadness, I am losing weight. {\cf2\super [537]} \par


Wicked people live and die like weeds.\par And the worthless things they do\par will be destroyed forever.\par


A voice said,\par “Speak!”\par So the man said,\par “What should I say?”\par The voice said,\par “People \{don't live forever;\par they\} are all like grass.\par Their goodness is like a wildflower.\par


God clothes the grass in the field like that. That grass is living today, but tomorrow it is thrown into the fire to be burned. So you know that God will clothe you much more. Don’t have so little faith!


The sun rises and becomes hotter and hotter. The sun’s heat makes the plants very dry. The flowers fall off. The flowers were beautiful, but now they are dead. It is the same with rich people. While they are still making plans for their business, they will die.
