“Now, Lord God, get up,\par and come to your special place,\par the Box of the Agreement {\cf2\super [114]} \par that shows your strength.\par May your priests be dressed with salvation.\par May your true followers be happy\par about these good things.\par


God, you will show all your enemies that you are strong.\par Your power will defeat the people who hate you.\par


God, get up and help us!\par Rescue us because of your true love!\par


Don’t just kill them, God,\par or my people might forget.\par My Master and Protector, scatter them\par and defeat them with your strength.\par


On Mount Zalmon,\par God scattered the enemy kings.\par They were like falling snow.\par


Use your stick to make those “animals”\par do what you want.\par Make the “bulls” and “cows” in those nations obey you.\par You defeated those nations in war.\par Now make them bring silver to you.\par

No one could tell that a statue had ever been there. Then the rock that hit the statue became a very large mountain and filled up the whole earth.


When the people lifted the Holy Box to move the camp, Moses always said,


But the Lord punishes people who hate him. He will destroy them. He will not be slow to punish people who hate him.
