God made the sky and earth. At first,


The Lord is good!\par His love is forever.\par We can trust him forever and ever!\par \par \par


The Lord made heaven and earth.\par And the Lord welcomes you! {\cf2\super [580]} \par


God loves us very much!\par And God will be true to us forever!\par Praise the Lord!\par \par \par


The Lord spoke the command,\par and the world was made.\par The breath from God’s mouth\par created everything on earth.\par


Lord, I truly believe your love is forever.\par Your loyalty continues like the skies!\par


But I will never take my love away\par from those people.\par I will always be loyal to them.\par


The ocean is his—he created it.\par God made the dry land\par with his own hands.\par


The Lord showed the nations\par his power to save.\par The Lord showed them his goodness.\par


Why? Because the Lord worked six days and made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. And on the seventh day, God rested. In this way, the Lord blessed the Sabbath—the day of rest. The Lord made that a very special day.


“Lord God, you made the skies and the earth. You made them with your great power. There is nothing too wonderful for you to do.


I prayed to the Lord my God. I told him about all of my sins. I said: “Lord, you are a great and awesome God. You keep your agreement of love and kindness with people that love you. You keep your agreement with the people who obey your commands.


\{God,\} please be true to Jacob, {\cf2\super [82]} \par Be kind and loyal to Abraham, {\cf2\super [83]} \par like you promised our ancestors {\cf2\super [84]} \par a long time ago.\par


All things were made through him (the Word). Nothing was made without him.


Jesus answered, “It is written in your law, ‘I (God) said you are gods.’ {\cf2\super [170]}


“Men, why are you doing these things? We are not gods! We have the same feelings as you have! We came to tell you the Good News. {\cf2\super [290]} We are telling you to turn away from these worthless things. Turn to the true living God. He is the One who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything that is in them.


“So remember that the Lord your God is the only God, and you can trust him! He keeps his Agreement. He shows his love and kindness to all people who love him and obey his commands. He continues to show his love and kindness through a thousand generations.


Through his power all things were made—things in heaven and on earth, things seen and not seen, all \{spiritual\} powers, authorities, lords, and rulers. All things were made through Christ and for Christ.


That faith and that knowledge come from our hope for life forever. God promised that life to us before time began—and God does not lie.


Those two things cannot change. God cannot lie when he says something and he cannot lie when he makes a vow. So those things give great comfort to us who came to God for safety. Those two things give us comfort and strength to continue in the hope that God gives us.


The angel said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him praise. The time has come for God to judge \{all people\}. Worship God. He made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the springs of water.”
