That evil man loved to ask for bad things\par to happen to other people.\par So let those bad things happen to him.\par That evil man never asked for good things\par to happen to people.\par So don’t let good things happen to him.\par


A person is rewarded because of the good things that he says. In the same way, the work he does gives him profit.


Good people will be kept safe by the Lord. But evil people will have many troubles.


If a person is sad, he is the only one that can feel that sadness. In the same way, if a person is happy, he is the only one that can feel that joy.


A fool will believe anything he hears. But a wise man thinks carefully about everything.


The things you say affect your life. If you say good things, then good things will happen to you. But if you say bad things, then bad things will happen to you.


If you become wise, then you have become wise for your own good. But if you become proud and make fun of other people, then only you are to blame for your trouble.


The Lord says these things:\par “Bad things will happen to people\par that trust only other people.\par Bad things will happen to people\par that depend on other people for strength.\par Why? Because those people have stopped\par trusting the Lord.\par


You did bad things,\par and those bad things will only\par bring punishment to you.\par Trouble will come to you.\par And that trouble will teach you a lesson.\par Think about it!\par Then you will understand how bad it is\par to turn away from your God.\par It is wrong not to fear and respect me!”\par This message was from my Master,\par the Lord All-Powerful.\par


The people of Judah went (lived)\par the wrong way.\par But why do those people of Jerusalem\par continue going the wrong way?\par They believe their own lies.\par They refuse to turn around and come back.\par


The Lord has given many things to Israel. He is like a shepherd that takes his sheep to a large field with much grass. But Israel is stubborn. Israel is like a young cow that runs away again and again.


Some people turned away from the Lord. They quit following me. Those people stopped asking the Lord for help. So I will remove those people from that place.”


But the person that drinks the water I give will never be thirsty again. That water I give will become like a spring of water flowing inside that person. That water will bring that person life forever.”


This is what we are proud of, and I can say with all my heart that it is true: In all the things we have done in the world, we have done everything with an honest and pure heart from God. And this is even more true in the things we have done with you. We did this by God’s grace (kindness), not by the kind of wisdom the world has.


A person should not compare himself with other people. Each person should judge his own actions. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done.


If a person plants (lives) to satisfy his sinful self, then his sinful self will bring him eternal death. But if a person plants to please the Spirit, {\cf2\super [76]} he will get eternal life from the Spirit.


So, brothers and sisters, be careful that none of you is sinful, and refuses to believe, and stops following the living God.
