Micah 3:5 - Easy To Read Version

⁵ Some false prophets are telling lies to the Lord’s people. The Lord says this about those prophets:

I did not send those prophets to teach the people. I never commanded them to do anything for me. They can’t help the people of Judah at all.” This message is from the Lord.

Jeremiah 6:14

My people have been hurt very badly.\par The prophets and priests\par should bandage those wounds.\par But they treat those wounds\par like they are only a small scratch.\par They say,\par ‘It is all right, everything is fine!’\par But it is not all right!\par

Jeremiah 6:4

“Get ready to fight against Jerusalem.\par Get up! We will attack the city at noon.\par But it is already getting late.\par The evening shadows are growing long.\par

Ezekiel 13:9

The Lord says, “I will punish the prophets that saw false visions and told lies. I will remove them from my people. Their names won’t be in the list of the family of Israel. They will never again come to the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord and Master!

Hosea 4:5

You (priests) will fall in the daytime. And at night, the prophet will also fall with you. And I will destroy your mother.

Micah 2:11

Malachi 2:8

\{The Lord said,\} “But you priests stopped following me! You used the teachings to make people do wrong. You ruined the Agreement with Levi!” The Lord All-Powerful said these things!

Romans 16:18

People like that are not serving our Lord Christ. They are only doing things to please themselves. They use fancy talk and say nice things to fool the people that don’t know about evil.
