God, you have such great love for me.\par You save me from the place of death.\par


People who forget God are bad.\par They will go to the place of death.\par


The things a wise person does leads to life here on earth {\cf2\super [20]} and stop him from going down to the place of death.


She is on a path leading to death. She will lead you straight to the grave!


Her house is the place of death. Her path leads straight to death!


And those poor foolish people didn’t know that her house was filled only with ghosts. She (Foolishness) had invited them into the deepest parts of the place of death!


But that did not happen.\par You did not go to the sky with God.\par You were brought down to the deep pit—\par Sheol, {\cf2\super [151]} the place of death.\par


Sheol, {\cf2\super [148]} \{the place of death\} is excited\par because you are coming.\par Sheol is waking the spirits of all\par the leaders of the earth for you.\par Sheol is making the kings stand\par from their thrones.\par They will be ready for your coming.\par


And you, Capernaum, {\cf2\super [149]} will you be lifted up to heaven? No! You will be thrown down to the place of death. I did many miracles in you. If those same miracles had happened in Sodom, {\cf2\super [150]} \{the people of\} Sodom \{would have stopped sinning and it\} would still be a city today.


If your eye makes you sin, take it out and throw it away. It is better for you to have only one eye but have life forever. That is much better than to have two eyes but be thrown into the fire of hell.


“You are snakes! You are from a family of poisonous snakes! You will not escape God. You will all be judged guilty and go to hell!


But I tell you, don’t be angry with another person. Every person is your brother. If you are angry with other people, you will be judged. And if you say bad things to another person, you will be judged by the Jewish council. And if you call another person a fool, you will be in danger of the fire of hell.


If your right eye makes you sin, then take it out and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into hell.


The two men came to Jesus and shouted, “What do you want with us, Son of God? Did you come here to punish us before the right time?”


He called, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me! Send Lazarus to me so that he can dip his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am suffering in this fire!’


I have five brothers. Lazarus could warn my brothers so that they will not come to this place of pain.’


“Death, where is your victory?\par Grave, where is your power to hurt?”\par \i (Hosea 13:14)\i0 \par


When angels sinned, God did not let them go free without punishment. No! God sent them to hell. God put those angels in caves of darkness. They are being held there until the judgment.


And Satan (the one who tricked those people) was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur with the animal and the false prophet. {\cf2\super [155]} There they will be tortured (punished) day and night forever and ever.
