When I think about what happened to me\par I feel afraid, and my body shakes!\par


The thunder warns that a storm is coming.\par


Listen everyone!\par God’s voice sounds like thunder.\par Listen to the thundering sound\par that comes from God’s mouth.\par


Then the Lord spoke to Job from a whirlwind. God said:


I was afraid, and shook.\par All my bones shook!\par


Lord, I am afraid of you.\par I fear and respect your laws.\par


God meets together with the holy ones.\par Those angels are all around him.\par They fear and respect God.\par They stand in awe of him.\par


On the morning of the third day, a thick cloud came down onto the mountain. There was thunder and lightning and a very loud sound from a trumpet. All the people in the camp were frightened.


Surely you are afraid of me.’”\par This message is from the Lord.\par “You should shake with fear in front of me.\par I am the One who made the beaches\par to be a boundary for the sea.\par I made it that way to keep the water\par in its place forever.\par The waves may pound the beach,\par but they will not destroy it.\par The waves may roar as they come in,\par but they can’t go beyond the beach.\par


My whole body shook\par when I heard the story.\par I whistled out loud!\par I felt weak deep down in my bones.\par I just stood there shaking.\par So I will wait patiently\par for the day of destruction when they come to attack the people.\par


Suddenly, there was a big earthquake. It was so strong that it shook the foundation of the jail. Then all the doors of the jail opened. All the prisoners were freed from their chains.


The jailer told someone to bring a light. Then he ran inside. He was shaking. He fell down in front of Paul and Silas.
