That evil person will die\par and even his own mother\par will forget him.\par His sweetheart will be the worms\par eating his body.\par People will not remember him.\par That evil person will be broken\par like a rotten stick!\par


People are much less pure.\par People are like maggots, {\cf2\super [46]} \par like worthless worms!”\par


My skin is burnt and peeling away.\par My body is hot with fever.\par


My body is clothed with worms and dirt.\par My skin is broken\par and covered with running sores.\par

No person will ever get enough money\par to buy the right to live forever,\par and to save his own body\par from rotting in the grave.\par


Your pride has been sent down to Sheol. {\cf2\super [149]} \par The music from your harps announces\par the coming of your proud spirit.\par Maggots (flies) will eat your body.\par You will lie on them like a bed.\par Worms will cover your body like a blanket.\par


It is the same with the dead people who are raised to life. The body that is “planted” will ruin and decay. But that body is raised to a life that cannot be destroyed.
