I will continue to trust God\par even if God kills me. {\cf2\super [23]} \par But I will defend myself to his face.\par


Water flowing over stones\par wears them down.\par Floods wash away the soil on the ground.\par In the same way, God,\par you destroy a person’s hope.\par


God hits me from every side\par until I am finished.\par He takes away my hope\par like a tree pulled up by the roots.\par


You worship God.\par You trust him.\par You are a good man.\par So let that be your hope.\par


“My strength is gone,\par so I have no hope to go on living.\par I don’t know what will happen to me,\par so I have no reason to be patient.\par


“My days go by faster\par than a weaver’s shuttle. {\cf2\super [13]} \par And my life ends without hope.\par
