“You must remember to keep the Sabbath [127] a special day.

The most important thing is for you to be careful in the things you think. Your thoughts control your life.

The person that obeys God’s law about the Sabbath {\cf2\super [432]} will be blessed. And the person that does no evil will be happy.

That will happen when you stop sinning against God’s law about the Sabbath. {\cf2\super [447]} And that will happen when you stop doing things to please yourself on that special day. You should call the Sabbath a happy day. You should honor the Lord’s special day. You should honor that special day by not doing and saying those things you do every other day.

“Think carefully about the things you hear. The way you give is the way God will give to you. But God will give you more than you give.

So be careful how you listen. The person that has \{some understanding\} will receive more. But the person that does not have \{understanding\} will lose even \{the understanding\} that he thinks he has.”

Be careful for yourselves and for all the people that God has given you. The Holy Spirit {\cf2\super [406]} gave you the work of caring for this flock. {\cf2\super [407]} You must be like shepherds to the church (people) of God. {\cf2\super [408]} This is the church that God bought with his own blood. {\cf2\super [409]}

“But be careful! Don’t be fooled. Don’t turn away to serve and worship other gods.

“On the day the Lord spoke to you from the fire at Mount Horeb (Sinai), you did not see him—there was no shape for God.

In that new land, you must be careful not to forget the Agreement that the Lord your God made with you. You must obey the Lord’s command. Don’t make any idols in any form!

But you must be careful! Be sure that as long as you live you never forget the things you have seen. You must teach those things to your children and grandchildren.

So you must continue to love the Lord your God.
