Let the sea and everything in it shout!\par Let the fields and everything in them show their joy!\par


The trees of the forest will sing with joy in front of the Lord!\par Why? Because the Lord is coming.\par He is coming to judge the world.\par


Everything on earth, praise the Lord!\par Great sea animals in the oceans,\par praise the Lord!\par


God made the mountains and hills,\par the fruit trees and cedar trees.\par


The pastures are covered with sheep.\par The valleys are filled with grain.\par Everyone is singing and shouting with happiness.\par


Praise God, heaven and earth!\par Sea and everything in it, praise the Lord!\par

Bring to me all the people that are mine—the people that have my name. I made those people for myself. I made those people, and they are mine.”


I will do good things! Soon, I will save \{my people\}. I will bring salvation to Zion and to my wonderful Israel.”


Heavens and Earth, be happy!\par Mountains, shout with joy!\par Why? Because the Lord comforts his people.\par The Lord is good to his poor people.\par


\{The Lord\} told me,\par “Israel, you are my servant.\par I will do wonderful things with you.”\par

Then heaven and earth and all that is in them\par will shout with joy about Babylon.\par They will shout because\par an army came from the north\par and fought against Babylon.”\par The Lord said these things.\par


The Lord my Master says these things, “All the earth will be happy when I destroy you


“Son of man, {\cf2\super [277]} speak to the mountains of Israel for me. Tell the mountains of Israel to listen to the word of the Lord!


“But mountains of Israel, you will grow new trees and produce fruit for my people Israel. My people will soon come back.


The common people will bury those enemy soldiers. And those people will become famous on the day that I bring honor to myself.” The Lord my Master said those things.


To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen.


When it says, “He went up,” what does it mean? It means that he first came down low to earth.


The person who speaks should speak words from God. The person who serves should serve with the strength that God gives. You should do these things so that in everything God will be praised through Jesus Christ. Power and glory belong to him forever and ever. Amen.


So be happy you heavens and all who live there! But it will be bad for the earth and sea, because the devil has gone down to you! The devil is filled with anger. He knows he doesn’t have much time.”


Be happy because of this, O heaven!\par Be happy, God’s holy people {\cf2\super [134]} and apostles {\cf2\super [135]} and prophets {\cf2\super [136]} !\par God has punished her because of the things she did to you.’”\par
