May the Lord bless you from Zion. {\cf2\super [614]} \par I hope you enjoy the blessings in Jerusalem\par all of your life.\par


God is in that city,\par so it will never be destroyed.\par God is there to help even before sunrise.\par


The nations will shake with fear,\par those kingdoms will fall\par when the Lord shouts,\par and the earth crumbles.\par


My people will live in the beautiful field of peace. My people will live in tents of safety. They will live in calm and peaceful places.


Jerusalem, you are rich—you are rich with wisdom and knowledge of God. You are rich with salvation. You respect the Lord and that makes you rich. So you can know that you will continue.


So the Lord says this about the king of Assyria:


\{At that time, God will prove that he is with his people.\} During the day, God will make a cloud of smoke. And during the night, God will make a bright flaming fire. {\cf2\super [41]} These proofs will be in the sky over every building and over every meeting of the people on the mountain of Zion. {\cf2\super [42]} There will be a covering over every person {\cf2\super [43]} for protection.


Make your tent bigger.\par Open your doors wide.\par Don’t stop adding to your home.\par Make your tent large and strong.\par


You will see the things that you truly enjoy.\par You will be free and grow like grass.\par The Lord’s servants will see his power,\par but the Lord’s enemies will see his anger.\par


“The distance around the city will be 18,000 cubits. {\cf2\super [486]} From now on, the name of the city will be: THE LORD IS THERE. {\cf2\super [487]}


“The next area of land will be for a special use. This land is south of Judah’s land. This area is 25,000 cubits {\cf2\super [467]} long from north to south. And from east to west, it will be as wide as the land that belongs to the other family groups. The temple will be in the middle of this section of land.


So I tell you, you are Peter. {\cf2\super [230]} And I will build my church on this rock. The power of death {\cf2\super [231]} will not be able to defeat my church.


The Lord your God will choose a special place among your family groups. The Lord will put his name there. That will be his special house. You must go to that place to worship him.


“Three times a year all your men must come to meet with the Lord your God at the special place he will choose. They must come for the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Shelters. Every person that comes to meet with the Lord must bring a gift.


The person that wins the victory will be a pillar {\cf2\super [28]} in the temple {\cf2\super [29]} of my God. I will do that for the person that wins the victory. That person will never again have to leave God’s temple. I will write the name of my God on that person. And I will write the name of the city of my God on that person. That city is the new Jerusalem. {\cf2\super [30]} That city is coming down out of heaven from my God. I will also write my new name on that person.
