11 “The leaders of the city Zoan are fools. Pharaoh’s ‘wise advisers’ give wrong advice. Those leaders say they are wise. They say they are from the old family of the kings. But they are not wise like they think.”

Solomon’s wisdom was greater than the wisdom of all the men in the East. And his wisdom was greater than all the men in Egypt.


God strips advisors of their wisdom\par and makes leaders act like fools.\par


The Lord can make everyone’s advice useless.\par He can ruin all their plans.\par


God showed their fathers\par his great power at Zoan in Egypt.\par


They forgot the miracles in Egypt,\par the miracles in the fields of Zoan.\par


Compared to you,\par people are like stupid animals.\par We are like fools\par who can’t understand anything.\par


They began to rot, and the whole country began to stink.


The frogs will be all over you, your people, and your officials.’”


I am the worst person on earth. I am not able to understand like I should.


The leaders of Zoan have been fooled. The leaders of Noph have believed false things. So the leaders lead Egypt the wrong way.

False prophets {\cf2\super [397]} tell lies, but the Lord shows their lies are false. The Lord makes foolish people of the men that do magic. The Lord confuses even wise men. They think they know much, but the Lord makes them look foolish.
