The two men answered, “We dreamed last night, but we don’t understand what we dreamed. There is no one to interpret or explain the dreams to us.”


“God has thousands of angels.\par Maybe one of those angels\par is watching over that person.\par That angel might speak for that person\par and tell about the good things he did.\par


The people would see that Moses’ face was shining bright, so Moses would cover his face again. Moses kept his face covered until the next time he went in to speak with the Lord.


Then those people will be able to understand wise sayings and stories with hidden meanings. Those people will be able to understand the things wise men say.


People praise a wise man. But people don’t respect a stupid person.


The wise man is always thinking of the best thing to do. But a foolish person is always dreaming about faraway places.


A good person always knows that he is right. But an evil person has to pretend.


Wisdom makes a man more powerful. Knowledge gives a man strength.


He knows hidden secrets\par that are hard to understand.\par Light lives with him,\par so he knows what is in the dark\par and secret places!\par


Then the king said to Daniel, “I know for sure your God is the most important and powerful God. And he is the Lord of all the kings. He tells people about things they can’t know. I know this is true because you were able to tell these secret things to me.”


While these followers watched him, Jesus was changed. His face became bright like the sun. And his clothes became white as light.


The Jewish leaders understood that Peter and John had no special training or education. But the leaders also saw that Peter and John were not afraid to speak. So the leaders were amazed. Then they realized that Peter and John had been with Jesus.


And now, Lord, listen to what they are saying. They are trying to make us afraid! Lord, we are your servants. Help us to speak the things you want us to say without fear.


All the people sitting in the meeting watched Stephen closely. His face looked like the face of an angel, and they saw it.


So you must obey the government. You should obey because you might be punished if you don’t obey. And you should also obey because you know that is the right thing to do.


Also pray for me. Pray that when I speak, God will give me words so that I can tell the secret truth about the Good News {\cf2\super [48]} without fear.


Those people will be cruel. They will not care about old people. They will not show mercy to young children.


But the Lord stayed with me. The Lord gave me strength so that I could tell the Good News {\cf2\super [23]} everywhere. The Lord wanted all the non-Jews to hear that Good News. So I was saved from the lion’s (enemy’s) mouth.


Most important, you must understand this: No prophecy {\cf2\super [3]} in the Scriptures {\cf2\super [4]} ever comes from a person’s own interpretation.
