And they returned, and came to the fountain of Misphat, the same is Cades: and they smote all the country of the Amalecites, and the Amorrhean that dwelt in Asasonthamar.


O Lord, in thy favour, thou gavest strength to my beauty. Thou turnedst away thy face from me, and I became troubled.


So Mary the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand: and all the women went forth after her with timbrels and with dances:


His sister standing afar off, and taking notice what would be done.


And the child's sister said to her: Shall I go and call to thee a Hebrew woman, to nurse the babe?


And the south side southward is from Thamar even to the waters of contradiction of Cades: and the torrent even to the great sea: and this is the south side southward.


For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and delivered thee out of the house of slaves: and I sent before thy face Moses, and Aaron, and Mary.


And Mary and Aaron spoke against Moses, because of his wife the Ethiopian,


The cloud also that was over the tabernacle departed. And, behold, Mary appeared white as snow with a leprosy. And when Aaron had looked on her, and saw her all covered with leprosy,


Mary therefore was put out of the camp seven days: and the people moved not from that place until Mary was called again.

And when they had removed the camp from Cades, they came to mount Hor, which is in the borders of the land of Edom.


And when he had stripped Aaron of his vestments, he vested Eleazar his son with them.

Because you trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel, at the waters of contradiction in Cades of the desert of Sin: and you did not sanctify me among the children of Israel.


But when they came up out of Egypt, he walked through the desert to the Red Sea, and came into Cades.
