In the beginning  God created the heavens and the earth.  ,


Then God said, ‘Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place,  and let the dry land appear.’ And it was so.


So the heavens and the earth and everything in them were completed.


When he saw them, Jacob said, ‘This is God’s camp.’ So he called that place Mahanaim.  ,


Then Micaiah said, ‘Therefore, hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne,  and the whole heavenly army  was standing by him at his right hand and at his left hand.


But will God indeed live on earth? Even heaven, the highest heaven, cannot contain you, much less this temple I have built.


Then Hezekiah prayed before the Lord: Lord God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim,  you are God #– #you alone #– #of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.


Now, Lord our God, please save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are God #– #you alone.


Then the Levites #– #Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah   #– #said, ‘Stand up. Blessed be the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting.’ Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.


Lord of Armies, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim,  you are God   #– #you alone   #– #of all the kingdoms of the earth.  You made the heavens and the earth.


Now, Lord our God, save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are God  ,  #– #you alone.


‘You are my witnesses’   – this is the  Lord’s declaration – ‘and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and there will be none after me.


This is what the Lord, the King of Israel and its Redeemer,  the Lord of Armies, says: I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me.


Do not be startled or afraid. Have I not told you and declared it long ago? You are my witnesses! Is there any God but me? There is no other Rock;  I do not know any.


I made the earth, and created humans on it. It was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded everything in them.


Oh, Lord God! You yourself made the heavens and earth  by your great power  and with your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you!


Then I gave them my statutes and explained my ordinances to them #– #the person who does them will live by them.


He answered them, ‘I’m a Hebrew.  I worship  the Lord,  the God of the heavens,  who made the sea  and the dry land.’


When they heard this, they raised their voices together to God and said, ‘Master, you are the one who made the heaven, the earth, and the sea, and everything in them.


The heavens, indeed the highest heavens, belong to the Lord your God, as does the earth and everything in it.


See now that I alone am he; there is no God but me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal. No one can rescue anyone from my power.


‘Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.  ,


The Son is the radiance  of God’s glory and the exact expression  of his nature,  sustaining all things by his powerful word.  After making purification for sins,  he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.  ,


Again, when he  brings his firstborn into the world,  he says, And let all God’s angels worship him.   ,


He spoke with a loud voice:  ‘Fear God  and give him glory,  because the hour of his judgement has come.  Worship the one who made heaven and earth,  the sea and the springs of water.’


Our Lord and God, you are worthy  to receive glory and honour and power, because you have created all things, and by your will
