‘Why do you ask me about what is good? ’   he said to him. ‘There is only one who is good.   If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.’


As  he was setting out on a journey,  a man ran up, knelt down  before him, and asked him, ‘Good  teacher,  what must I do to inherit  eternal life? ’


You know the commandments: Do not murder;   do not commit adultery;   do not steal;   do not bear false witness;   do not defraud;   honour   your father and mother.’   ,


‘Why do you call me good? ’ Jesus asked him. ‘No one is good except God alone.


All have turned away; all alike have become worthless. There is no one who does what is good, not even one.   ,


Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.


And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.


The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.


There is no one holy like the  Lord. There is no one besides you! And there is no rock like our God.
